This publication is a vehicle to document the significant actual and potential exchanges that took place between specific people in a specific place at a specific time. For the duration of ao3, the exhibition space became an open field of activity. The curatorial emphasis was not on the exhibition of finished products, but rather on process-oriented collaboration and making normally hidden studio work accessible to an audience. The concept of an open platform involved the visitors, and artists as well as audience were challenged to question their expectation towards an exhibition.
