The groups very individual name has a programmatic undertone. Aniada a Noar stands for Everyone ´s a fool in Austrian dialect. There has always been a little envy of the Bavarian group Biermoesl-Blosn, but now Aniada a Noar is a highly competitive counterpart. The basis is Styrian Folk Music, the fools recklessly brought in elements of Folk Music of various countries and glanced over to Jazz. Tradition meets contemporary, quite differing from commercial fun for tourists. (MUSIKBLATT 5/89)
