Relations....point out the opulence of relations that can be embraced by orchestral works of the 20th century. On one hand, the essential of the works and the composers can be traced back to Arnold Schoenberg and Bela Bartok, but on the other hand orchestral works by Witold Lutoslawski, Simeon Pironkoff and Hannes Heher prove that there is no straight descent. The compositions on this CD have an attempt of symbiosis of most different musical trends in common as well as solutions to technical problems of their composition. That leads all of them to a distinct individuality, based on strong creative power and internal wealth of relations.
