It was the maestro Nicolaus Harnoncourt who roused Johannes M. Bogners passion for cembalo music. Now Bogner has released a debut CD with pieces by Jean Philippe Rameau, Francois Couperin, Antoine Forqueray and Joseph Nicolas Pancrace Royer. As a curiosity these Grande Siecle cembalo pieces are confronted with the profligate ballads of Francois Villon. A real pleasure to listen to and to read.
